The drive south from the border to San Felipe goes through the salt flats of Laguna Salada
Time to stock up on certain supplies in San Felipe before heading down to our friend's house, 45km south.
Hwy 5, heading south out of San Felipe. This was cleaned up on our return trip north.
This part of the countryside, just south of San Felipe, was painted by the blooming wild Lupines, something that only occurs after good fall rains (hurricane)
